Studio Taigh Shiphoirt offers a self contained digital widescreen Studio area suitable for small to medium productions, with access to a large scene dock into which vehicles may be reversed, and two adjacent dressing rooms c/w showers. A sizeable green room provides a rest and refreshment area for studio guests.

The 132 sq metre studio floor is equipped with three JVC cameras which can be either pedestal mounted or handheld offering total flexibility, there is also the option to have one of the cameras mounted on a robotic head, a permanently lit blue screen area available for news contribution etc. Additional cameras can easily be integrated into the system as required. A fixed height lighting grid covers the entire studio area with dimmer outlets available both on the grid and at floor level. A 360 cyclorama is permanently fitted, with an additional curtain rail for drapes.

The compact control gallery is equipped with a Ross Synergy II digital vision switcher, Sony audio mixer and an Arri lighting console, remote comms are available on ISDN or TBU. Talkback is provided with a Trilogy Orator intercom. The gallery is designed to enable easy connection to the neighbouring Studio Alba complex with audio, video, triax and comms ties available.
